That’s right, Rand Club has been operating for 120 years and seen many changes in the CBD of Johannesburg and also many changes in the life of Rand Club. But for those present on this special evening, I am sure you will agree, this anniversary was an exceptional party and celebrated another year in the life of what can only be described as an institution in South African history.

Members enjoyed a full dining room with food and entertainment that left everybody present, well fed and well danced. Tom, our chef, once again excelled himself and served us Mixed Hors D’Oeuvre followed by Spinach in Mint & Feta Parcels followed by Fillet of Beef followed by a Trio of Desserts and then a sumptuous Cheese Plateau.

The music was provided by the Dougie Finch band and they did an excellent job in keeping all present entertained and well danced. Even the Hokie Cokie got a look in and I have to be honest when I say that I didn’t see any one on the dance floor put a foot wrong.

Thank you to all those who attended, in making this evening such a pleasure and such an enjoyment.
